My professional experience began in education both at Primary and Secondary level. This afforded me the means to gain writing skills, patience and also money to enable me to travel, which I have done extensively. I am passionate about South East Asia, the culture, resourcefulness of the people and the no frills lifestyle. My knowledge of the travel destinations I write about are of the “been there and done that nature”. All research is first hand. I travel to Asia twice a year to accumulate knowledge and resources for my writing.
